How far in advance should we book?

Most couples book 9 to 12 months out, especially for dates in spring and summer. That said, I do sometimes have availability for shorter lead times, so it's always worth asking even if your date is coming up sooner than you'd expect.

The best thing to do is reach out as soon as you know your date. A quick message is all it takes and I'll let you know straight away what I have available.

What does your coverage include?

This can depend heavily on the wedding package you have chosen. Every package is built around your actual day and needs. We'll talk through your timeline together and make sure coverage starts and ends at the right moments for you, whether that's getting ready in the morning or dancing well into the night. What you can always count on: I'm there for the moments that matter to you, the small ones just as much as the big ones. We will work together on all your shot list and must haves, and all the special moments.

When will we get our photos and how many will be there?

Your full gallery is delivered within 6 to 8 weeks of your wedding day. I edit everything properly rather than rushing it out the door, because the photos deserve that care and so do you.

As for how many, a typical full-day coverage produces somewhere between 800-1000 fully edited images. You'll receive digital files that are yours to print, share and keep however you like.

Do you do family formals and group shots?

Yes, absolutely. These are usually done right after the ceremony. We'll go through your must-have groupings and plan it efficiently. If you have extended family attending, including grandparents or multiple generations you want captured together, just let me know when we talk through the day. I'll make sure we build enough time into the timeline, so nothing feels rushed.

What if the weather doesn't cooperate?

Melbourne weather being what it is, this comes up a lot. The honest answer is that overcast days often produce some of the most beautiful portraits because the light is even and soft. However, we'll also chat about backup options for portraits at your chosen venue as part of planning your day. You won't be left scrambling if the forecast changes.
